With the introduction of the new Nano Ceramic Protect® Biocidal product line, we were aware that the difficult times and the need to increase the epidemiological awareness of our customers are two major challenges that we will face in the coming months. For this reason we decided to develop a new product called Evo+. The self-disinfecting seal prevents the long-term growth of: bacteria, fungi, viruses, algae and mold.
Nano Ceramic Protect 9H Evo + is a ceramic coating that is enriched with silver particles that intertwine with their structure when the ceramic coating is crosslinked. This makes it possible to give the coating self-cleaning properties, for example against microorganisms. Silver inhibits the ability of bacteria, fungi and viruses to multiply, so that their number systematically decreases after a few hours.
In addition, silver particles woven into the structure of the ceramic coating prevent them from being rinsed out during standard cleaning. The active ingredient used in EVO + is approved by the FDA and EFSA in accordance with Regulation No. 10/2011 of the European Commission. The effectiveness against viruses has been confirmed in accordance with ISO 21702: 2019. Measurement of antiviral activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces.
